I’m not to sure if you recently caught the Uniquely Singapore advert. The lady above is the new spokesperson for their tourism campaign. Emeline Ng Vei Shu, winner of Miss Malaysia 2005 was born in Singapore and brought up in Malaysia and Australia. You would think she would have an annoying foreign accent but in the advert she hardly could speak fluently.
Anyways what is Miss Malaysia doing helping the Singaporeans? I find this an insult to the nation. It’s like the French aiding the Germans…. unthinkable. I also surprised why no one has made a fuss about this. Am I over reacting? I shared this information with my colleagues and the 1st thing that came out of their mouth is TRAITOR. But hey, lets put ourselves in her shoes, be very honest now, if you were a somebody and Singapore paid you a hefty amount would you take it?

Erm, I think you got the wrong Miss Malaysia. It's Chermaine Poo (runner up of Miss Malaysia/Universe 2005) who is in the Singapore Tourism TV ad, not Emmeline Ng.
You got the wrong gal.
don't care much about miss m'sia/miss world/miss universe, they all look the same.
Hope the person who made wrong accusations of Emmeline Ng has the gut to apologize.
Please run through your homework before making baseless accusations on someone that you hardly knew.
