Diary: 12th Febuary 2005

Today I woke up with flu. I slept only at 3.15 am. I was talking to a dear friend nobody has ever opened me up like that before. I spoke of one of my problems with her. She was quite a therapist, at lest she help me in the right direction. My flu was not that bad I knew it was because of not enough of sleep UI woke up at 8-ish to send my grand mum off. It was Saturday and u got to begin your day with Saturday morning cartoons. Mum was busy in the kitchen cooking. I wasn’t really in the mood for lunch so I had a short nap instead. I woke up just in time for tea; I sipped my tea and taught about work, planning up my strategies of what to do when I head back to work this coming Tuesday. I wish I brought my gold book along.

Mum cooked pasta for diner, not really appetizing but food is food we respect it. Its something mum always taught it we show food respect and we will always have abundance of it. I’ve seen out of experience people who show food respect does tend to have problem getting food on the table. It’s an Indian thing I guess….

Who do you think is the poet of our time? Forget T. S. Elliot of E. E. Cummings. Who do you think can connect to us with his or her poetry? You guys must be thinking who reads poetry anymore right. But poetry is everywhere the music that you listen to is poetry in its own form. To me Robbie Williams writes poetry wonderfully, he is actually a man of substance. People call him eccentric and a big lump of ego but aren’t all artist like that. His poetry isn’t all about love it’s about his life and how he feels. I leave you here with one of his best works

"Old Before I Die"
She's taking me places
I should never have been
She's showin' me faces
I should never have seen
Well these are strange days we're livin' in today
Cest la vie I say

I hope I'm old before I die
I hope I live to relive the days gone by
I hope I'm old before I die
But tonight I'm gonna live for today
So come along for the ride
I hope I'm old before I die

She's not feeling stable
She's unable to breathe
Her heart's beating faster
So I'll ask her to leave
These are strange days we're livin' in today
Am I straight or gay

I hope I'm old before I dieI
hope I live to see the day
The pope gets high
I hope I'm old before I die
Well tonight I'm gonna live for today
So come along for the ride
I hope I'm old before I die

Well these are strange days we're livin' in today
Cest la vie I say, I say, I say
I hope I'm old before I die
I hope I live to relive the days gone by
I hope I'm old before I die
But tonight I'm gonna live for today
So come along for the ride
I hope I'm old before I die
Old before I die
Old before
Old before
Old before I die
Old before I die
