Diary: Promises

Along my life I’ve made some promises with my friends. In high school the bunch of us promised we would go to London, I went alone. Then sometime later I made a pact with my friend to do a tattoo, I went alone. I’m starting to think that all the promises I made mean nothing. But its still means something to me that’s why I still do it irregardless the other party holds his promise or not, all to its own….

I was supposed to go visit my brother this year but I think I’m postponing that to next year. Fingers crossed, next year I get to go to Bali to conquer another fear (bungee jumping) then go see my brother in Jogakarta. Hope Mother Nature won’t be so pissed off when I plan to visit Indonesia. Mum and Dad are planning to go visit Alex in May, just before Aunt Ire comes down. Alex has been acting funny so mum wants to see what’s happening to the boy.

I’ll be away on a long leave, nope not going anywhere. I just need to clear my leave so I’m on leave on the 26 April – 2nd May. The only thing I’m looking forward in this is to catch Spider-Man 3 and TMNT. So if want to meet up give a call… I’m glad to hang out with ya.

Last week on the 11th of April, Annie gave birth to another Aries Men. So now lil Michael has a lil brother to play or beat up with. The kid is cute isn’t he? Annie and Gerald gave Michael to choose the babies name. So for a 4 year old kid his naming choices is quite limited. Some of the choices were Bob The Builder, Winnie The Pooh, Martin Mystery, B1 or B2 (from Banana’s in Pajamas) but I think they have settled for Christopher Robin. Anyways that’s another name I got to add in my X’mas list. And makes me feel much older… sigh.

I’m actually quite happy to have another nephew to play with. These are actually the most adorable time of their life till they turn out to be brats…. hehehehe. Anyway looks like I’ll have to share my birthday with this chappy now.

Kanye West Concert

Last Sunday at Easter Night, I sang jesus Walks. yes I'm surprised that he played that song too. The concert was actually was a so so one. I still think Linkin Park concert is the best. Anyway heard Justin would be coming to Malaysia. Thats another concert I must go. Anyway Kanye concert was fun too, I went wit Shari, Lester, Prashant, Rizal and his fiancee. Cool....

Last Saturday the content team organized a paintball game. It was the 1st for most of us. We re really excited. We were told it would hurt and it did so. Luckily I was smart enough two clothes. By the way I'm the midle guy in the pic... the fatness should give it away. I got loads to show but i cant cause not really know how to do it. How does it feel? Well I feel proud to conquere another fear. Now i'm in the 'pantang' stage. So no seafood for about 2 weeks. Its also the itch stage so no scratching. They've given me medication for 2 weeks for it to heal. Next year hopefully will be bungy jumping. Hope I have the balls for that.

What did mum say? Surprisingly mum was very cool about it. She was more worried how I'm taking care of it.

Will I do another 1? Most definately. Planning to do a Man Utd crest on my chest. Lets see how it goes 1st

Big Ups to my team to have stayed to launch Celcom Channel X. I am so out of touch working late hours and waking up early the next day. I and afew of the team members feel so zombied out.

I cant wait for friday when I'm leave to recover my sleep.

Diary: Palm Sunday

It was Palm Sunday last Sunday it the mark’s of the entrance of the Holy Week. I plan to be vegetarian for the entire week and to be as good as possible (Fingers Crossed). I love Palm Sunday after Christmas of course. One being that you get to play with palms and make it in nice decorative items. I was taught how to do the cross but I noticed tat the Philippino community goes the extra mile by making it as symbolic as possible by putting ribbons to the palms, etc. The other bit I like about Palm Sunday is that you get to act out the Passion of Christ. My favourite part is of course shouting ‘Crucify Him’. You got to be ignorant to enjoy that.

This Sunday I was really feeling under the weather, my sinus kicked in and I was sneezing badly. I was surprised that a Nigerian Priest kept the mass on a 10 visit to Malaysia. Apparently he was from the Somalia region, which my brain automatically said, “Isn’t he a lil too fat to be a Somalian?” Then my mind started to play scenarios from the movie Blood Diamond. Anyway I wasn’t up to stay to the end of mass and my sinus was really acting up. I needed something hot fast. I left after communion and headed to KLCC to pay my bills and I noticed that I’m broke and I’ve got to watch my spending.

But since it was the beginning of the month you should treat yourself, I was also lucky as my SFC card was fully stamped so I could redeem a large cuppa of Caramel Cappuccino. I had the craving for a sandwich and since I’m watching what I eat, I had a smoked sandwich with cheese on a croissant… oh delicioso. My recommendation to those who wants to try fish on bread. After a hearty breakfast I headed to Isetan to get my mum a name cardholder but there was nothing that nice so I headed to Kinokuniya. To my surprise they were taking in pre-orders of the Harry Potter final book. There is a RM50 deposit for it but you get 25% off the book. So all Book lovers please come down to Kino to get your books. This time I’m going for the launch….
